Something For Nothing Removed from WordPress.com – Posts and Most Comments Restored
Today I went to visit my relatively new Something for Nothing blog on WordPress.com. Much to my horror I got a message saying:
WordPress.com
This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.
You can create your own free blog on WordPress.com.
I can’t imagine why they would take it down and from what I read online they will never restore it and they don’t accept appeals for it to be restored. I wasn’t too worried since I had saved a backup recently. However, when I went to restore it to this blog I realized I did the wrong backup. I only backed up the last 10 posts.
So, for all those people that love So You Think You Can Dance as much as I do then you’re going to have to wait a little bit so that I can restore my blog. I think I’ll be able to get about 90% of it restored by days end(including many comments). Let’s just hope Google can find my site again quickly.
I still can’t believe WordPress.com took my site down.
