Travis Wall and Allison Holker Quoted in an Article on July 13, 2005

The NY Times had an article that talks about the final gala of the New York City Dance Alliance’s national championship. In the article there are 2 quotes. One by Travis Wall:
“It’s so hard to speak with your body,” said Travis Wall, 17, Mr. Tidwell’s brother, who has won top honors at the alliance twice. “That’s what dancers do. We tell stories with our bodies, without using words. A simple look to the audience could communicate so much, just like a sentence.”
So does this mean that Travis sucks at communication, because I haven’t understand a word he’s looked.

Here’s Allison’s quote:
Allison Holker, 17, from the Orem club, was a senior finalist. “We’ve dedicated our New York trip to Tori,” she said. “We pray for her before we go onstage.”
At 10:40, she took the stage for her solo, an artful, aching piece about lost love that she had choreographed with her sister, Jessica Holker, 23, an alliance alum who now dances for Disney in Tokyo. Allison left the stage sweaty and exhilarated, having improvised the ending.
“When you go on that stage, there are so many people watching you, you just want to give them everything you have,” she said. “You do what you feel.”
Allison should have won!!

i thought travis and allison were 18, but what ever. i was hoping the last two boys that would be standing were ivan and benji(even though travis was one of my favorites). well at least travis was one of my facorites and he was still standing. i thought the two girls should of been allison and natalie even though donyelle and heidi are wonderful dancers, i thought that allison was like a pro and natalie was following behind her. it was so sad when natalie and allison were both in the bottom 2 and those were my favorite two girls in the whole compition and then the next result show natalie goes home. what was up with that? good luck to all the top 20 you guys are so amazing. i love thiws show so much can not wait until next summer!
ivanforever, Travis and Allison are now 18, but they were 17 when these interviews were taken. I find it cool that both Allison and Travis were in this New York City Dance Alliance’s national championship and SYTYCD! They were also my favourite dancers from the show. They made me fall in love with Contemporary.

Sorry Ladies but Travis is SERiOUSLY GAY. HIs boyfriend on MySpace had a picture of them both and his caption was “me and my boyfriend”. He took it down but it is true. Also, my cousin used to go to his dance school in Virginia and it’s a fact he’s gay.
Again sorry. Even I was upset at this fact because he’s so hot and talented

And yes Travis is gay just to clear it up he has a boyfriend there is a picture of him kissing him. Travis also dresses up like a girl too. Anywho whatever it doesnt matter if he is gay or not he is hott and anyone would do him the problem is what he looks for in a person and who he wil date and not date.

I don’t know if Travis is gay or not. I have always wanted Allison and Ivan to date, but now that I know that Ivan, and Allison’s best friend Jaimie are dating, I am happy. I love Allison, Jaimie, Travis, and Ivan. I pray for you all often, and pray that things continue to go well. I can’t wait to see what ya’ll do next! I wish that I could go to the SYTYCD tour, but don’t have the money or the transportation. My heart and thoughts are with you all though. All my love!!!! Jan

well whatever, if travis is gay, it doesn’t matter. don’t feel sorry for him. he’s still an amazing dancer, and that’s not gonna change because of his sexuality. all it does is leave him unavailable for the ladies. ….T-T
