So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) Tour Dates and Venues

We’ve been the home of So You Think You Can Dance tour information in the past. We don’t plan on changing that anytime soon. Once the tour tickets go on sale, you can purchase most of the SYTYCD tour tickets on ticketmaster or I’m certain that So You Think You Can Dance Tour Tickets will be available on ebay even for sold out shows or to buy SYTYCD Tour presale code/passwords.

The following are the list of SYTYCD tour dates. I’m mostly just upset that Las Vegas didn’t make the list. Looks like I’m going to have to travel a bit to be able to see the SYTYCD tour.

SYTYCD: A second chance for Comfort Fedoke

It was officially announced this morning that Jessica King had to drop out of the competition for “So You Think You Can Dance”. Jessica will appear on the show wednesday night to explain why she had to leave the competition. I’m sorry to see her leave. It’s possible she will be back on the finale show, but it’s not yet clear if she will go on the SYTYCD Tour this year. We’ll have to wait and see.

Jessica, I wish you a speedy and full recovery. Please continue with your dancing, many of us love and support you!

“Fox announced Monday morning at the TCA press tour. “I would like to say how sorry I am that Jessica cannot continue dancing in the competition at the advice of her doctor,” executive producer/judge Nigel Lythgoe said in a statement.”

SYTYCD’s William Wingfield Singing with Celine Dion

People have been totally freaking out about Twitch being in Hairspray. Well, it turns out that William Wingfield isn’t just Debbie Allen’s dancer, but it looks like he also did some work with Celine Dion. Take a look at this video of William Wingfield with Celine Dion (scroll to about the 5 minute mark):

Certainly he’s just singing raping not dancing, but it’s still interesting to see what he was doing before SYTYCD. I don’t think this will draw the same ire as Twitch in Hairspray, but it makes me wonder how he got the job with Celine Dion. I can’t believe that he just got the job as a “singer” for the show. I have to believe that he was a dancer with Celine Dion and they asked him to do this little bit of extra.

Assuming that he was dancing for Celine Dion’s show, it’s amazing how far SYTYCD has come. When Benji Schwimmer won in season 2, his reward was to dance for Celine Dion’s show. I guess now that’s just the entry criteria.
