Elisa Toffoli (Featured Singer on SYTYCD) CD Giveaway
Written by: JohnThe music of Italian singer Elisa Toffoli has been featured a number of times on SYTYCD. Here’s a list of all Elisa Toffoli’s So You Think You Can Dance connections.
Since thousands of people are still visiting this site to check out all the great So You Think You Can Dance music, I decided that I should give away a couple of Elisa Toffoli’s CDs.
One CD I plan on giving to one person at random from anyone who comments on this post or if you want to remain private you can ask to be entered in the contest by asking on our Contact Us page.
I haven’t decided how I’ll give away the other CD. Try and blow me away somehow. Do something cool and exciting. For example, post a link to this blog somewhere that will drive thousands of people to it. Make an incredibly insightful and cool comment somewhere. Make me laugh. Basically do something that will be beneficial for the Pure SYTYCD community or at least get my attention in some nice way.
I’ll end the competition September 29. Enough time for you to get Elisa’s CD before Elisa’s US and Canadian Tour.
Any questions, feel free to ask away.
If you don’t want to wait for the giveaway, then you can always go buy Elisa Toffoli’s CD: Dancingon Amazon.

Feel free to combine my part1 and part2 into one longer narrative. It seems like it would be better that way.
UPDATE: John Bialoglow’s story about Elisa Toffoli was put into a post of it’s own.
Thank you for your post! After every episode I would come to your post to get all the names of the songs used! It’s the best resource!!
I wish there was a CD compilation of all the SYTYCD music. There was such great music on the show, and I was introduced to some new stuff that I love, including “The Garden”.
john - awesome blog…so glad i found it! finally had a chance to watch the finale show this week (i was in midst of moving and had it downloaded! i know what you’re thinking…what was she waiting for?) it was absolutely amazing, so much that i started to surf for a list of all the SYTYCD songs, and there your blog was in the search results! so happy that you posted elisa toffoli’s info too b/c other than this season, season 3 was my absolute fav until lacey got booted - she and kameron had this chemistry that was raw, and when they did mia’s number with elisa’s song, lacey became, for me, the most memorable dancer in the show’s history (ok, after benji…), and elisa’s song just stuck in my head! she did a great job in the ‘rainbow’ video too! i’m stoked that elisa’s coming to t-dot on oct 29! i’m gonna post a link to your blog in my FB profile and get a whole bunch of people out to the mod club to see elisa too! thanks again, john! (and put me on that list for the cd contest!)
I would love to have a cd so I can share it all over the world.
Mish,
Thanks for posting links to this site. SYTYCD Canada will be starting soon, so you can expect a bunch of posts to be coming shortly.
Elisa is great. If you grab some pictures of her at the concert or anything like that, I’d love to post them for you. Or if you or someone else is going to the SYTYCD tour I’d love to post some pictures from the experience and/or a writeup about it.
Hey thanks so much for starting this website! I love the music on this show, especially from the solos. It’s been way helpful. Keep up the good work
Missy,
Thanks for the kind words. Comments like yours make this website and the work it takes to create the website and gather the content all worthwhile.
I agree that the music from So You Think You Can Dance has been outstanding. No other reality TV show has been able to match the music of So You Think You Can Dance.
I wish I could be one of the contestants but unfortunaely for my age and schooling, thats unlikely. But the muisc is so inspiring to me. I would like to know how to get the songs from the initial tryouts. Could any one please help out there?
Lee,
I guess age could be an issue. I think that they actually have an age limit of like 30 if I’m remembering right.
