      Wow.

Very impressive week. And thanks, John, for posting these songs again.

I was in chills and speechless over Jeanine and Jason’s Travis Wall dance. My favorite dance of the season. I can’t believe that Jason FINALLY lived up to what I knew he could do. Unreal.

I friggin’ love this show. (Isn’t it obvious???)

      lol

I agree with Beth, Jeanine and Jason were unbelievably hot and passionate! They danced with such a fire that I had chills AND got flushed! The song choice was perfect, Travis’ choreography was phenomenal and I LOVED it all!

      YAY!

i also really enjoyed jeanine & jason’s number. so cool! I have to say though, my favorite tonight was janette & ade. It was just fantastic! I think Kupono should go. I dislike his dancing and his solos are never good enough.

I think that Randi and Kupono’s time is up right now. Everyone is so good this year, but they are just not as good as the others in the top 10 (although I love them both).

Now, for who will go home after that? I’m not certain at all…

      My rankings of the night?

      Jeanine and Jason
      Ade and Janette
      Melissa and Brandon
      Kayla and Evan
      Randi and Kupono

(I think that this may be the general order that they go home, too, except I think top 4 will be Jeanine, Janette, Ade and Brandon. I’d like it to be Melissa instead of Janette, but I think Janette has a stronger fan base.)

Oh, and I agree about the Ade and Janette dance…very cool. I’m so glad Ade got to do hip hop (though I don’t think hip hop is Janette’s strength).

Does anybody know the name of the song/artist that was being played in the beginning of the show? It sounded like a movie music used for an epic battle or something. It’s kind of Lord of The Rings-kind of music.

      Hi again :)
Does anybody know the name of the song that’s being played when Janette talked (about last week performance)? It was Janette’s song was played when the show showed that Janette was teaming up with Jason and she was talking.

I mean Jeaninne, and it’s the 2nd song XD

    8. # John commented on July 16th, 2009:

Good question. I haven’t listed the music or tried to figure out the music during those times. I think they call them music beds in TV lingo. If I have time I’ll take a look or maybe one of my readers will get to it first and comment as well.

    9. # dancefan commented on July 16th, 2009:

I just rewatched last night’s episode. The music that’s being used when the dancers are talking are quite good :)

Too shame they are so short and it’s hard to identify them :(

    10. # Ann commented on July 17th, 2009:

Small Correction: The Bollywood number is actually Dholna Shubha Mudgal - Lau - Dholna by Shubha Mudgal from her album Pyar Ke Geet.

      P.S. I love this site!!!

    11. # John commented on July 17th, 2009:

      Ann,
Thanks for the correction. We’re far from perfect. Although, its great readers like you that make this site great. So, thanks for reading and contributing.

i still cant understand why Cat is not nominated at the emmy’s. she is better than most of the nominees. why?

    13. # John commented on July 18th, 2009:

Not only should Cat have been nominated, but I think she has a good case for winning an Emmy. Sad she wasn’t on the list.

    14. # Brian commented on August 6th, 2009:

Thanks for posting these songs every week. I’ve been looking for a comprehensive list, but have only found partial ones until now.

Now I won’t have to pause the show to write down songs, I’ll just get them here. Thanks!

    15. # John commented on August 6th, 2009:

      Brian,
I’m glad you found us as well. It’s even better during the audition shows when they don’t list the name of the song on the screen. Luckily, with the help of thousands of readers, we’re usually able to figure out most of the songs.

Look forward to seeing you back here for the next season of SYTYCD. If you just want to see the latest music, you can find it: http://www.puresytycd.com/tag/so-you-think-you-can-dance-music/
