Instead of a guest judge, thye should have you replace Mary on the show. Someitmes I don’t hit the 30-second skip fast enough and I still have to hear her talk. *shudder*

I’m really hoping that Paula doesn’t end up on the panel permanently, although I have nothing against seeing her there for a week or two.

If they were going to stick someone in as a third judge I’d like it to be Adam Shankman. I find him to be positive, honest, and humourous and I always feel like he contributes to the panel, offering constructive criticism.

You know who I want to see on the panel of judges is Wade Robson. Honestly I’d rather listen to Paula than Mary…lol. I would love to see past contestant be guest judges. Another thought would be celebrities that got there start in dancing like Jennifer Lopez.

You should judge! But Puala, no. I cannot stand her on American Idol, or in the papers, I would probably miss the episode of SYTYCD with Paula on it purposly.

I would rather Paula not be a judge at all on SYTYCD. I don’t watch AI, but not a fan of Paula. I guess I could tolerate one week as a guest judge, but please, no ideas of making her judge often.
I’ve watched the show since Day One, but would have to tune out if Paula became a judge on a more than “guest” basis.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I think the difference between myself and other judges is that they have something to lose in that community if they’re honest about it. I could easily say when the choreography wasn’t interesting and not have to worry that I’ll have to work with that choreographer down the road. Of course, I could also tell them it was great if it was great. On that thought, maybe the show couldn’t handle that type of honesty.

I think Paula could be great. She was always 100x the choreographer and dancer than she was a singer. In fact, she wasn’t that great of a singer…though she did have some of my favorite songs from the late eighties/nineties! lol She used to choreography for Janet Jackson and the Laker girls…I think she knows her dance. I also have a feeling that since dance is her true area of expertise, she’d be more likely to speak constructively, and since she won’t have to play foil to Simon Cowell, this could actually work.

paula abdul…hmm……as long as she doesn’t judge like she does on AI…..she’d be acceptable. she needs to give constructive comments.

I enjoyed Ellen. I liked that she didn’t pretend to give “real” critiques and she was just encouraging and funny. Which is all she really needed to be.

I love when Nigel tries to be all mean like Simon…..because he doesn’t pull it off.

I just found some bootleg copies of season 1-4 online…..and now i just get to fast forward thru the judges. its awesome the guest judge is the one i will watch if i do. Nigel & Mary—-cya!
