Another SYTYCD Season 6 hopeful is Mollee Gray. I’m sure you remember her from the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance Season 6. She has some pretty sweet videos online as well.
First, here’s a video of Mollee Gray doing some partnering work with DJ Guthrie
Also, I think this video was interesting of Mollee Gray at the High School Musical 3 red carpet. She’s the blonde at the beginning. Yes, she was principle dancer on all 3 High School Musical videos. I guess that makes sense that she’s from Utah since that’s where they filmed High School Musical.
In case you forgot who Mollee Gray is, here’s her SYTYCD season 6 audition video, but personally I like the video at the top better than her audition. She is a cute little girl.

Oh wow. I’m glad you put this up. I’m getting a bad feeling that the guys this season aren’t going to be a strong as the girls (kinda like Season 5, in my opinion). Where are guys like the one dancing here with Mollee Gray? I’d love to see *this* guy on the show. The end of this piece gave me chills.
Very interesting piece. I don’t think Mollee is ready for SYTYCD, though…she still has a little bit of growing to do.
She’s ok. Not the best technician or emotive dancer, and to succeed on this show you really need to be killer in both.
From a choreography perspective…
If I see ONE MORE piece about a guy in love with a girl who doesn’t love him back/isn’t ready, I’m going to vomit. I know every choreographer wants to show how great they are at creating a story based on the lyrics, but just like a novelist can’t use someone else’s plot line, a choreographer shouldn’t use someone else’s story/concept. Let’s be creative, people. Mia easily could have done the same story for “Gravity”, but instead branched out and made it about addiction. It still fit the lyrics, but not in a way that anyone had ever thought of before.
I think Mollee still needs to grow as well. Well just based on the first video, she didn’t seem to get into the emotion of the dance until near the end.
I suppose that’s where acting comes in. She’s still young, I hope Vegas kinda helps put her in gear.
DJ Guthrie, the guy dancing here with Mollee, is actually s3 Lacey’s boyfriend, man how cool would it be to see them dance together?!
