So I missed this episode, but is Jakob Karr Jeanine’s husband???
Jeanine tweeted something that makes me think yes:
“So proud of my hubby @jakobakarr!! Wooh! ”

Maybe they said this on the show and I missed it…?

    22. # Emilie commented on October 4th, 2009:

@Jeanine’s husband? Huh? Jeanine Mason? Where did you see that Tweet, can you link to it? ;”)

I’m probably wrong, from what research I’ve done it seems like they’re just good friends.

    24. # Jamie commented on October 5th, 2009:

Does anyone know where we can get a copy of the Kris Allen version of “To Make You Feel My Love”? Love his version. Thanks!! Awesome site!

    25. # Richard commented on October 5th, 2009:

Does anyone have a clue where you can find “Louder” by Bijou and Dave Tweedie? Have checked iTunes, eBay, Amazon, internet searches . . . nothing. No mention of this song ANYWHERE. Maybe its on a compilation CD or something? Anybody got a clue?

    26. # John commented on October 5th, 2009:

      Jamie and Richard,
We’ve been looking all over for those and haven’t found them. Before we were able to get one of the Dave Tweedie songs and make it a free download on this site, but so far no dice.

I imagine Kris Allen’s song will make it to iTunes eventually. If it does, then we’ll link to it.

    27. # Richard commented on October 6th, 2009:

I went to Bijou’s mySpace page today and sent an email to the administrator asking about the availability of the song “Louder” that Micah Mixon performed to at the New Orleans auditions. I received a response within a couple hours saying, “Ya, were going to release it sometime this week on our website bijoumusic.com for free to download.” So there ya go . . . all ya gotta do is ask!

    28. # Emilie commented on October 6th, 2009:

@Richard: You rock! I contacted Dave Tweedie since so much of his music has been used so far (no response yet). GREAT job!!!

    29. # AmberLea commented on October 14th, 2009:

Thank you so much! I was searching to find the “Jason Karr” song!!! I loved it when I heard it!

    30. # Emilie commented on October 14th, 2009:

You’re welcome. I’m glad we could help, AmberLea!

    31. # Jen commented on October 17th, 2009:

@ Richard – I looked on the website you provided and I still don’t see a download for the song “Louder,” have you happened to download the song yet? Please let us know! :)

    32. # Ashley commented on October 17th, 2009:

Thank you so much for providing the song titles and artists. It took me hours of searching before I found your post about [Shelby “Skip” Skipper (New Orleans bounce guy): “Street Team Anthem” -Big Choo] Im very upset however that I can’t seem to find a download for this song anywhere. I can’t even find a place to listen to it other than the youtube video for the audition itsself. If you or anyone can find a place where it is downloadable, I would be entierly grateful.

    33. # Emilie commented on October 18th, 2009:

@Ashley: Thank you! If I see it, I will definitely let folks know. :)

    34. # Richard commented on October 18th, 2009:

@ Jen – I contacted Larry again with bijoumusic.com. The song “Louder” still isn’t up on the website but he was nice enough to send me an mp3 of the song. Problem is – it’s only 58 seconds long! I don’t know if this is just an “edit” or if it will be released in its entirety at a later time. Try requesting the song directly from Larry at larry@bijoumusic.com.

    35. # Amanda commented on November 11th, 2009:

Any updates on where we can download the Kris Allen version of “Make You Feel My Love”? It doesn’t look like it will be released on his upcoming album.

    36. # Emilie commented on November 11th, 2009:

@Amanda: I’m glad you asked about that. I just checked again and it’s still unavailable. :’(
