      I just want to say THANK YOU for posting all of the songs. When I found your site, I was ecstatic because I wouldn’t have to spend countless hours searching for the songs they used. Thanks a bunch :)

    2. # Andrea commented on October 14th, 2009:

      I think the song after Mia Michaels’ routine with Legacy as a better dance is “Sideways” by Citizen Cope

    3. # Emilie commented on October 14th, 2009:

      @Priya: You’re more than welcome. Your comment perfectly illustrates the biggest advantage of writing for this site. :) Thank you for reading!

      @Andrea: Great call! Thanks.

    4. # Kristy commented on October 14th, 2009:

      Does anyone know the name of the song that one of the boys danced to solo @ the end of the show that made one of the judges cry?? It had some piano playing ….

    5. # Emilie commented on October 14th, 2009:

      @Kristy: That was Billy Bell dancing to “To Build a Home” The Cinematic Orchestra - Ma Fleur - To Build a Home by The Cinematic Orchestra, which made Adam Shankman cry.

    6. # Kristy commented on October 14th, 2009:

      Thank you … I found it … it is beautiful!

    7. # Emilie commented on October 14th, 2009:

      @Kristy: Welcome!

      @Everyone: FYI – the schedule for the next three episodes includes a MONDAY show!!

      Wed, Oct 21 Vegas Callbacks #3
      Mon, Oct 26 Meet the Top 20
      Tue, Oct 27 Top 20 Perform

      Presumably, Wednesday, Oct 28th will be the first results show. Three episodes of SYTYCD in one week? Yay!

    8. # bandanajack commented on October 15th, 2009:

      i hate that i am fretting so over losing this one or that one. the talent is SOOO deep. did we lose the guy who danced in the yellow diaper in a ballet style solo?

      i was pleased and surprised to see mrs villelo kill her group routine. mr villelo has to make it. he dances well and he makes all the women… and adam shankman positively damp. nigel was very jealous or hiding something. he may just be an equal opportunity perv.

      anyone got spoilers? i don’t want to wait until next week.

    10. # Valerie commented on October 15th, 2009:

      Hey the last song is a remix I think, because the version on iTunes is a lot slower. It sounds more like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUvVphkz_lU

    11. # Nikki commented on October 15th, 2009:

      This is so great! Everytime I watch this show I love the music and ALWAYS forget to write down the artist and song title…THANK YOU!!

    12. # mskeke commented on October 15th, 2009:

      Thanks for posting these songs! I <3 this site!!

    13. # Emilie commented on October 15th, 2009:

      @Bandanajack: I don’t know of any spoilers (I avoid them like the plague), but maybe one of our writers has something up their sleeves, who knows…

      @Valerie: Yup, it’s the “Party Rock Mix.” I added that to the song title to distinguish it.

      @Jack, Nikki and Mskeke: Glad you found us and you enjoy the site!

    14. # Matthew commented on October 16th, 2009:

      What was the song played once Mia Michael’s rehearsal got underway? It was purely instrumental and had the dancers in slo-mo.

    15. # Keiko commented on October 16th, 2009:

      Does anyone know what song was playing when the Matthew was telling his wife Karen that he didn’t make the cut?

    16. # Keiko commented on October 16th, 2009:

      I looked over the song list and i realized its the song by Tyrone Wells

    17. # Emilie commented on October 18th, 2009:

      @Matthew: That was probably the Halloween theme. The other song during Mia Michael’s routine segment was Kerli’s “Walking on Air” and that had lyrics.

    18. # Matthew commented on October 18th, 2009:

      @Emilie:

      No, the Halloween song came right before–as they were describing how “scary” Mia can be. Then, once she had them stretch (“We are powerful, we are strong”) and Cat announced how nice Mia was being this season, Mia says, “Okay, let’s do this”–and BOOM, the music starts. It’s a very light, liberating piece of music, and it may very well be something the show had to write for the ten seconds it plays.

      But I wish I knew what it was!

    19. # Michele commented on October 18th, 2009:

      Thank you for this awesome site! I just had the chance to watch the second Las Vegas episode tonight. I heard a song that really resonated with me, but had no idea what it was…my husband suggested googling music for SYTYCD, and ta da, I found your site! I discovered the song I was looking for was Sideways by Citizen Cope, so I just downloaded it. Love the links to iTunes, also. I’ll be checking back throughout the season. Thanks again!

    20. # Emilie commented on October 21st, 2009:

      @Matthew: Thought I’d answered you – sorry for the late response. I think that’s the full list of music that’s up, so it has to be one of those. I’ll look around again to see if there’s something else.

      @Michele: Glad you found us – and that you like the Citizen Cope song. It is a good one. That was actually a find by one of our readers, who we rely on. I’d first thought it was an entirely different song. :)

    21. # verne commented on October 31st, 2009:

      urgently needing the song used for mia micheals contempory routine when in vegas. a different song was used for south african veiwers. It had no lyrics, just a lot of ‘hay hay hay huh’ this was the final group routine prior to the top 20 being chosen. please help?

    22. # bandanajack commented on November 1st, 2009:

      verne, is anyone uploading vids of the south african version of sytycd?

    23. # verne commented on November 2nd, 2009:

      not that i know of, but i must tell you that the standard is not nearly as good as the american or canadian version.

    24. # bandanajack commented on November 2nd, 2009:

      THANKS…

      sorry to hear that. i have seen some of netherlands and scandinavia, and while they deed not appear to be DEEP in talent, the beast was very good indeed. i have also seen some of israel and greece, and they were very amateurish.

    25. # Mandira commented on January 26th, 2010:
