OMG. Finally back after so long. feels good. i missed discussiing about the show. I think this season’s gonna blow, well ever since i’ve had my wish of nathan and billy getting in the top 20. love them. think it’s going to be a guy’s year. love it. yay. i can’t wait!! 😀
Not only am I excited about the 3 tap dancers but personally investested with Kathryn so proud of her…she is not only from my hometown but the same dance studio and we are her extended family and I can say we are all very proud of her.
I *LOVE* this top 20. Except for two dancers who I can’t stand (male and female). That’s gona make it exciting and fun, but also torture when they get voted off. I’m excited for some partnership predictions. Bring em on!! You know they’ll split up the husband/wife and Bianca won’t dance with either of the other two tappers.
@Amanda: Kathryn did a really good job!! Can’t wait to see more of her as the show progresses.

@john lol no i wont do power rankings but I will post things about Kathryn…plus anything she updates on facebook i’ll let you guys know. I really like the krumper…over very satisfied with everyone in the top 20. Mollee will be one to watch to see if se will dance more mature.
although i’ve heard rumors that Paula turned the top 20 down, i didn’t want it to be so! i’m really bummed she isn’t apart of Season 6….
BUT i am very happy with the top 20. got some faves already…..but im trying to wait to really pick them till the performances.
not sure what to think of Ashleigh….she didn’t really impress me through auditions & Vegas….so we’ll see. hopefully she’ll prove me wrong. I’m excited to see what the partnerships are. I would love to see Elenore & Jakob/Nathan paired together 😉

My dude Russel is in!! As I’ve commented before, I CANNOT say enough about him… I think he’s gonna blow us out of the water.
I know Ashleigh didn’t impress many during the Vegas callbacks – but I think its cute she and her hubby both got through. Do you think the judges will pair them together for the sake of chemistry or try to split them up in an effort to encourage growth?
And Tappers, tappers, tappers, oh my!! I’m excited to see how well they adapt to different styles.
Hi, well new Top 20 “Wooo” :/
So far I think its going to be a bad season with Mia leaving and the new stage. The Kodak Theatre will eat them alive! Its so huge and very impersonal, it will lose there glow and joy, it will just be lost because its so big. Also in Vegas week I got worried when Sonya didn’t show up, and then finding out that Mia is leaving? Not cool.
The top 20:
I love Russell and he better make it far! He is my favorite, to me he’s got this sweetness and no ego. And he grew so much in Vegas.
The married couple will probably get a divorce if they stay on the show long enough. I mean come on “Cha-Cha’s” and “Tango’s” are meant to be hot and woman and men can get jealous when someone else’s hands are all over someone else’s wife/husband.
Mollee don’t like her, she does act really really young, and seem like she wants so much attention.
Billy Bell! Love! He shines when he dances.
Love Nathan, he is a cutie and a powerful dancer.
Love Legacy, he’s got talent and pushed himself all of Vegas.
There is one boy taper, that knew Ryan….I think its Phillip….well I don’t like him he has a weird vibe going about him….and somewhat of a an ego….
And I don’t like Chenning….
I noticed how like all the girls are contemporary, what happened to verity!? Yes 3 tapers, but the rest is contemporary and tap! One krumpers, one B-Boy, little ballroom, and that’s it! Where are the jazz dancers!
My thoughts might change through the episodes about a few of the people but I doubt they will change about the stage.
First the married couple were competing against each other while they were dating…not to mention they understand the concept of acting…lol.
Also I know the show classifies the dancers into one category but in some cases thats not the only style they do. I know that Kathryn can tap. Anyways I agree that Russel will be one to watch for sure he is going to surprise all of us…I want to know what Lil C thinks of him.

The pairs were based somewhat on height, personality dynamic, and combination of power couples and underdog couples. There’s usually a few power couples that are made to stand out and guarantee themselves a top 10 spot. I tried to vary the partner’s dance genre as well. How would you pair them? 🙂
