If you’ve read this blog for any amount of time you know that I really don’t like Mary Murphy as a judge on SYTYCD. I just think she adds little value to the show. Despite my desire for her to no longer judge on SYTYCD, I’ll be the first to admit that I was sad to hear Mary Murphy talk about being abused by her husband. I hope that Mary’s words will help others who are also being abused to start talking and get help. You can hear the rest of Mary’s story in the videos below.

Whoa. I have a lot of respect for Mary Murphy. Thanks for posting these, John. And I think you’d miss her if she wasn’t on the show. I think she brings an important balance to the show, even if I don’t always like the screaming. And who’d be the ballroom expert? ;”)

I don’t think the show would not be the same without Mary. I know her scream is annoying but she does bring a lot of joy to it

Out of respect for what Mary went through, I’ll just leave my comments for another day and another blog post:-)
