I hope everyone had an excellent Halloween! As an after-holiday treat (I’m not one for tricks) here are some SPOILERS for Top 18 week!
**warning: spoilers following**
Ryan & Ellenore – Argentine Tango – Miriam Larici & Leonardo Barrionuevo
-they’re the couple who choreographed Brandon and Jeanette’s Argentine Tango from last season, I think these two are gonna kill it, the only hiccup might be their height difference, it didn’t seem to make that big of a difference last week, but Ryan looks to be quite a bit taller than Ellenore, will be interesting with a ballroom dance.
Phillip & Channing – Samba – Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin
-let’s see if more time dancing together helps their chemistry, especially for a dance as sexy and sassy as the samba
Victor & Bianca – Broadway – Tyce Diorio
-this could be interesting…
Peter & Pauline – Jazz – Wade Robson
-totally excited!
Legacy & Kathryn – Contemporary – Stacey Tookey
-I’m glad we’ll get to see more of Stacey now that SYTYCD Canada has ended their season, I’m interested to see how Legacy handles Stacey’s choreography
Nathan & Mollee – Bollywood – Nakul Dev Mahajan
-totally perfect for these guys, I hope they rock it
Russell & Noelle – Hip Hop – NappyTabs or Jamal Sims
-I know Russell is gonna kill it, hopefully Noelle is able to perform!
Kevin & Karen – Hip Hop – NappyTabs or Jamal Sims
-this is another interesting one, Kevin will definitely do well, but I’m not sure I saw Karen’s hip hop in Vegas…
Jakob & Ashleigh – Viennese Waltz – Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin
-I’m willing to give Ashleigh the benefit of the doubt after last week, this is more in her wheelhouse and her partnering skills will come in handy

bottom four: Noelle, Bianca, Phillip, Victor
eliminated: Bianca and Phillip
Phillip’s elimination doesn’t surprise me as much, but Bianca?! I obviously haven’t seen the show, but she must have really done poorly with the Broadway number. That’s disappointing, I was really rooting for Bianca.

Being from Boston it pains me to say this, but I hope the Yankees win (ouch), cause this lineup of dances sounds cool. It hate to have it preempted until next week…
so now that the yankees did lose, do we have to wait till next week to see this?
i don’t mind phillip leaving, but i was rooting for bianca. i’m just glad peter wasn’t even in the bottom (i was afraid he would be), since he’s from my city. go phils!
as much as i loved seeing the yankees lose (i was born in baltimore) i do hope their lose doesn’t mean that we have to wait until next week! as far as I know, we are still on for SYTYCD tonight, at least that’s what it says on fox.com. keep a look-out today to see if that changes, i’m keeping my fingers crossed!
ok, now i found a world series schedule and game 6 is tomorrow, so we should be fine!
I’m relieved if Bianca is next to go. I’ve already had one of my favourites booted (Arianna) but Bianca has rubbed me the wrong way from her first audition.
There’s confidence and there’s arrogance, and Bianca just seemed to fall on the wrong side of that line.
Ya sorry. SYTYCD is on tonight. I was forgetting they have a day off in between games. Doh.
Last week alot of people surprised me, so it’ll be interesting to see who rises to the challenge tonight.
