UPDATE: Looks like the Live Stream to Qik didn’t work quite as well as I had hoped. However, my other camera seems to have worked great. I’ll post the videos over the next couple days. It was a lot of fun. I got to interview: Jeanine, Evan, Randi, Melissa, Jason, and Phillip. I’ll see about the meet and greet tonight as well (if the wife is up for it).
I’m hoping to be able to do a live stream of the So You Think You Can Dance Las Vegas tour stop. We’ll see if the technology works the way it should and if they don’t stop me from doing it. So, if you’re available you can check out the video on Qik. I think you can also send me messages through it too, but it’s my first time using it so we’ll see how it works.
I’m set to start at 3:00 PM PST (if everything goes as planned). I’ll probably try and do a test one before 3:00 to see if it all works.

Wow, John, you had a *very different* press session than me! ;”) Mine was really laid back by the tour buses, basically interrupting them while they were sunbathing and playing lacrosse. I’m so glad you got some time with them – and way to ask about Jason and Janette. Lol. Any more to the Jeanine/Evan clip? It cut off after a few secs. And did you end up going to the meet and greet? Hope you had fun!! Post more soon!
Hey Emilie, it turned out that I was the only press there so I had all 6 dancers to myself basically. I could do it kind of however I wanted. Since I had the video camera I just did it interview style 2 at a time. I did about 30 minutes worth or so. About 10 minutes for each group. I’ll be posting the full videos for each group from a much higher quality camera over the next couple days. I just have to do a bit of editing to the videos before posting them.
I didn’t end up going to the meet and greet. It was almost 11 when the show ended and our babysitter needed to go home. It was a great time.
