Pure SYTYCD has been getting a ton of requests for the full version of “Tore My Heart” by OONA that was used for Jakob and Ellenore’s routine from last night. Well, the wait is over. You can now find “Tore My Heart” on iTunes
among all the other SYTYCD music.
In case, you don’t know which routine I’m talking about (is this possible?) or just want to watch it again, here’s the video of the Sonya Tayeh routine performed by Jakob Karr and Ellenore Scott to “Tore My Heart”
by OONA.

Dave just said on Facebook that “Tore My Heart” went from #112 on the singles list yesterday to #64! That’s probably because of all the folks here at the site who loved his work with Oona.
Very cool. Glad to see that they’re having some success. Probably would have had even more success had they put “Tore My Heart” on iTunes the day before it was on the show.
Loved that dance. Does anyone remember that there was a girl for either season 5/6 that used this song in her solo? Nigel was raving how Sonya would love that song and dancer. The girl didn’t make it, but I’m glad the song did!
Alyse,
by Kate Nash, but I guess the show couldn’t get the rights to the song and so Dave Tweedie and Oona created “Tore My Heart” to replace the other song. People loved it so much, that they decided to make the full version of “Tore My Heart”
you find above.
Of course we remember that girl;-) Her name is Kelsea Taylor. Coincidentally, the song Kelsea really danced to was “Habanera”
