SYTYCD Twitter Round Up
It’s that time again for me to go around and highlight some of the most interesting tweets from throughout the SYTYCD twittersphere. If you don’t know what twitter is, then come out of your hole and look around. Basically, it’s a great way to stalk your favorite dancer. AHHH…did I say that out loud? Ok, don’t do that, it’s illegal and wrong. What is right is for you to follow your favorite dancer on Twitter and see where you might be able to see them dance again.

NAPPYTABS Okay Dancers, the Cirque gig was mainly for Las Vegas peeps, but if you want to move to Las Vegas if you make the show?!
I thought about saying I was a dancer just so I could get a chance to meet NAPPYTABS in Vegas. However, that just felt wrong. However, I thought maybe some other Las Vegas dancers read this website and would want to know. Looks like @laurengottlieb is working with @NAPPYTABS on this Cirque show. An Elvis show…sounds interesting huh?

I encourage this type of voting. I’m surprised that Nigel didn’t mention it on the show tonight when all the judges turned into politicians asking for votes.

NAPPYTABS We have to say Ellenore was a real trooper & sucked it up this week! She tore her rotater cuff, got a shot & decided to perform.
NAPPYTABS And let me say, her performance was amazing! Lucky for Tabitha…because she was gonna have to dance if Ellenore wasn’t so tough!
This is an interesting note. Ellenore was hurt too. Why’d they let her dance through and not Ashleigh. Granted, it’s a different injury and maybe less time to find a replacement? I still adored Ashleigh tonight. She was so cute on stage when she talked about wanting to dance. Although, from the above tweets I’m mostly disappointed that we didn’t get to see Tabitha dance. I would have LOVED to see Tabitha and Legacy do that routine. Although, even more than that I’m rooting for a Tabitha and Napoleon duet on some future SYTYCD. That would be AMAZING!!

Ellenore was injured too and danced through it. Yay! Don’t gloss that over just cause you’re a hater, John. Lol. Ohhh, it’s starting to get ugly fast since we don’t have that transition from Top 6 to Top 4. 🙂
lol…I’m not a hater. I’m just not a HUGE fan like so many others. If Ellenore would have been as cute with her injury as Ashleigh was, then I’d have been happy to vote for her too.
I also don’t think Ashleigh was begging for votes. She was begging to dance. Ryan took care of the begging for votes.
I don’t hate Ashleigh. I just like all the other girls more. Especially Kathryn and Ellenore. She was already my choice to go this week before the injury, so it just makes a hard choice “easier,” as far as I’m concerned, since we didn’t get to see her dance this week. Ellenore is amazing!
I agree that Ellenore is a trooper for dancing through her injuries, but the point is that Ashleigh wasn’t cleared to dance, while Ellenore apparently was. Very different.
I still think Ashleigh should go home, just because she didn’t dance, and while it isn’t her fault, it’s still doesn’t seem fair for her to stay.
I already wanted to road trip to Vegas to see Criss Angel’s Believe, so now knowing there’s a new one coming with Nappytabs AND Lauren Gottleib involved turns my want to a need. NEED.

I live in Vegas and even my friends who work for Cirque say under their breathe (they don’t want to get in trouble) that Criss Angel’s Believe is horrible. Maybe it’s improved over time, but the reviews were bad. I heard they couldn’t even use Wade Robson’s name to promote it. I guess the dancing was great, but the rest wasn’t?
I agree that a Nappytbas and Lauren choreography sounds interesting.
That said, you should road trip to Las Vegas. We’re hurting and could use your $$.
I would also love to see NappyTabs dancing, but acording to Napoleon, he is not such a great dancer. But Tabitha is, so I would love to see her dancing.
Ashleigh got hurt the morning of performances, therefore she didn’t have time to get an MRI, get cleared, etc. Ellenore must have gotten injured earlier and had time to be cleared prior to performance.
I wonder if Ashleigh will dance tonight?
I think it’s Ashleigh’s time, regardless…to be honest, except for her latin routine, she’s been somewhat forgettable for me. I have always been drawn to her partners. Not that she’s not a great dancer–she is–but I just don’t think she’s in the top 3 girls. Kathryn, Mollee and Ellenore are definitely better.
John if u paid attention to travis’s tweets he said Ellenore was injured. Did anyone else see Kathryn retweet of a video. It was a little girl, trying to dance like her while she did her solo last week. It is way too cute…i posted a link in the performance thoughts.
