Ok, time for those in the US and around the world to be able to enjoy the videos from So You Think You Can Dance UK’s top 10. There are a number of videos, but they should just play automatically:
Also, be sure to check out the music from this episode of SYTYCD UK.
THANKS! for posting the videos! How I wish we could watch the shows internationally, without having to pass through the lower quality postings.
Thanks, John!! A little bit of my thoughts, here. First, YAY for Bollywood. But I notice they’re reusing Jai Ho again. And that big red sun in the background (from Mollee and Nathan’s routine). And whoever dressed those girls should be fired. Oh my gawd, spandex. None of that’s really about the dancing, though…
More thoughts (and SPOILER!!!). First, I hope Hayley goes this week. Her behavior when given that hip hop routine was just bratty and completely indulgent and this isn’t the first time, in my opinion, she’s acted like a prima dona. I don’t think she’s the best dancer at all and with that attitude, I want her gone. SPOILER! I can’t believe Tyce re-used his cancer routine that was so poignant with Melissa and Ade. That was my first reaction, but then my second was a curiosity to see how it would be performed by another couple, especially a couple dancing together for the first time. I have to say, they did a great job (they’re my 2 favorite dancers, I think, so I wasn’t all that surprised). The surprise for me was that I thought a lot of the poignancy of Melissa/Ade’s performance came from their long partnership together on the show and their connection. And for them, that’s where it came from, I guess. Who knows where it came from with these two, but it was a solid performance. I wonder what it felt like to watch this routine with THESE two dancers for the first time. Anybody?
I personally liked the UK version of the piece better. Well. I preferred their performance.
