I’ve been searching and searching for that song Ashley danced to tonight during her solo (I missed the intro). I *know* it was on the show before, but I just can’t find it and it’s driving me crazy!!! Help? 😀
The song listed isn’t the song I remember hearing….. 🙁
@Jam: Ashley’s song is right. It’s the same as Sonya’s group routine last week. It’s “Royal T.”
You’re right… I clicked on the wrong song; haha I’m an idiot! Thanks Emilie! 😀
Ahhhhhhh I’m so happy!
Lol @Jam. I’m glad you’re happy. 🙂
I recorded the show to watch tomorrow, but Ashley Galvan is dancing contemporary again? I guess it’s luck of the draw, but it seems rather unfair.
Also Melinda would be out of her main style no matter what, but getting ballroom again is probably not going to do her any favors.
Emma, I totally agree with you!!! Poor girl!
Does anyone remember the song that was used in the routine with the guy with a mohawk and the girl who had long dark hair. They said the guy had been on the show before and had a unique dance style. They were wearing black and the song was more beat than singing and kindof gothic?
I think it was one of the guest dance routines… The episode was played on July 1st
In response to question #8- It was “The Garden”
by Mirah…danced by Courtney and Mark.
Thanks for answering Brittany, Bethan! 🙂 I took the liberty of adding the iTunes link for everybody who’s interested in the song. 🙂
[…] As an example, the article specifically mentions Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts,” which was featured on SYTYCD and has done very well for itself. It was featured in the Billy-Kathryn Stacey Tookey contemporary on the Top 9 performance show. […]
For anyone looking for the original version of “Royal T” used in the dances just follow the link below. It’ll take you to the Crookers’ site. It’s not listed in US dollars, but it comes out to about $1.50 for the track. Well worth it…
