Since the tour dates have been announced, and Nigel was kind enough to clarify that dancers from both Seasons 6, Season 7 and the All Stars are going to participate… one thing that Nigel mentioned to Ashley was that she was “chosen” to participate on the tour as long as her injury has healed. Chosen? Meaning that not everyone is going to get a chance to be on the tour?

And as Emilie mentioned before… there might be dancers in Season 6 that won’t be able to make the tour due to contractual obligations elsewhere (they have to dance to put food on the table after all! 😀 ).

So below are a series of polls… the Top 10 dancers of Season 6, the dancers of Season 7 sans Alex Wong, and the All Stars… You get to decide who you’d like to see go on the tour! You are able to select as many dancers as you would like… in this case there’s no limit! 🙂 Enjoy.

My life can be summed up in the following two quotes: 1) "I am married to engineering and am its faithful wife by day, but at night my wanderlust takes hold and the arts becomes my jealous paramour." and... 2) "Engineering is my safety net. Writing is my passion. Acting is my escape when the other two become too much." So where does dancing fit in? Pretty much anywhere at this point... =)

As long as Kathryn is part of the tour I’ll happy. I would think since she is part of both season 6 and 7. Ive met most of the AllStars at their on tour with the exception of season 3. I love that I have been lucky enough to get pics with Mark, Twitch, and Ade. Chelsie, Katee, and the rest of season five minus janett. But Benji and Travis are my favs pics. So those that havent been yes stay after the show for those chances.

I find it interesting that in the polls on this site, as well as SYTYCDism, Adechike and Jose always seem to be ranked as a “least popular” dancer, yet Adechike hasn’t been in the bottom, and Jose had his first appearance this week. I know that obviously there are people that vote on the show that don’t pay attention to websites, but typically polls are indicative of the general population of the viewers.

I second that! I really want to see Legacy and Kathryn back together. I liked Russell and Noelle’s partnership but strange events (like injuries) just prevented them from dancing together as often as they could have.

I see that more people would like to see Jakob on tour than Russell. I haven’t heard much from Russell since his season ended, and it’s interesting to me that there’s not a ton of interest in him anymore. I’m still surprised he won.

Didn’t know if anyone had seen this yet – but Nigel explained (via twitter) that Ashley will be allowed to either tour or go to Vegas next season:

“Ashley will be invited back to Vegas next year if she doesn’t do the tour. FOX feels you can do one or the other. I’m hoping she’ll tour!”
