SYTYCD Alumni is America’s Best Dance Crew newest judge

I came across an article on www.wetpaint.com In case you haven’t heard ABDC is coming back for a sixth season and there is a new judge on the panel. SYTYCD season 3 and ABDC season 3 alum Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval has joined the judging panel. He will be taking Omarion place joining JC Chasez and Lil’ Mama. I am really excited for Dominic, I think he will be a great addition to the show and should be intresting to see a different side of Dominic. He might just be the breath of fresh air the show needs because in my opinion after Shane Sparks stepped down a judge, the show was just lacking something and Omarion was not the best choice. But that is my opinion. Here is was producer and American Idol judge Randy Jackson had to say:
“I am so happy that D-Trix is joining the panel having been a part of one of the greatest dance crews ever. He’s going to be one of the best people to give the crews advice because he’s been there; we couldn’t have anyone better qualified.”

*again thanks to wet paint for this info.

Dance is one of my biggest passions. I grew up dancing at Augusta West Dance Studio (the same studio that Kathryn McCormick). I have a BFA in theatre/dance from Valdosta State University. Tap is my favorite style of dance.

SYTYCD and SYTYCD UK Return!

Hi everybody. I’m back after a little tiny break and I hope everybody’s doing great!

Guess what else is back?! SYTYCD!

The UK version returns on March 23rd and Nigel is going to commute every week from the US for American Idol to Britain for SYTYCD UK. I loved last season, I’m really excited that I don’t have much longer to wait for Series 2.

Our own US version of SYTYCD returns May 26th. I’ve read that Mary Murphy may have to tame her Tamale Train a bit after her throat surgery. It’ll be interesting to see if John will like the quieter Mary better.

Anybody else excited to know when we’ll get our SYTYCD fixes again?
