AJ Joins Pure SYTYCD Canada Team

Written by: John

Why hello! As you may or may not have noticed, I have become part of the Pure So You Think You Can Dance Canada blogging team! Previously, I have posted comments and names to some songs used in the series by the name of “AJ“. Here is a little introduction to hopefully break the ice and also for the readers to know who the heck this AJ kiddo is!

My name is Anthony Jayden O., but you may call me AJ. Jayden is actually not my legal middle name, but that’s beside the point! To start, I am currently only 16 years old and I will be going into Grade 12 (a Senior) starting September 2009. I am from Toronto, ON, Canada and I too, vow to become part of the Top 20 in a future season of SYTYCDC! I have been trained in Hip-Hop dancing since I was around 11. Also, I have just recently started doing some Contemporary/Lyrical dancing. Hopefully, I will be good enough in the near future! I actually go to the same studio as Melanie Mah (and Victoria Marshman)! If you catch me constantly rooting for Melanie, … you’ll know why! Below is a poster/ad that my studio actually sent me to hopefully spread the word for Melanie – so please vote for her if you can – I’d be happy and I’m sure our studio would be too!

I will be blogging about each performance episode and basically bring you the videos and music that accompany it. Once the episode is uploaded onto YouTube, I will embed a playlist to each post for all of you to see! If you missed it, don’t worry – just come back onto the blog here and I will try to be as fast as possible will the embedded playlists. I will also post up some of my predictions and talk about my favourite dance, dancers, and couples that night. Finally, I will have the numbers for voting for your favorite So You Think You Can Dance Canada dancers.
