Once again I’m going to piggyback the poll created by SYTYCDism since it seems wrong to duplicate efforts. It will be much more informative if we all vote on the same poll. So, it’s time to vote for who will be the winner of So You Think You Can Dance Season 6.

Today I was talking with Emilie about SYTYCD. She really wants it to go back to the summer. I think I’d prefer the summer as well, but I think they’re pretty much set on it being a Fall show. Let’s hear what you think by voting on this poll which has also been posted on SYTYCDism.

I just posted the poll to vote on the winner of So You Think You Can Dance season 6. However, I thought it would also be interesting to have 2 polls to see which girl you think will be going home tomorrow and which guy will be going home as well. So, let your vote be known and let’s see how good we are at predicting who will be sent home on tomorrow’s SYTYCD elimination show.

Seems like now would be a good time to vote for who you think will be the winner of So You Think You Can Dance season 6. We’re down to the top 10 dancers and America’s vote is all that counts. Plus, now we get to start voting for individuals. So, let’s see who readers of Pure SYTYCD think will be the winner of So You Think You Can Dance season 6.

I just noticed that three of our top 5 girls have double ls in their names (Elleanore, Mollee, Noelle). Odd, huh? This is the first week we’ll have new couples. We all saw that Kathryn and Legacy were a surprisingly strong couple. I loved the Elleanore and Ryan partnership and Noelle and Russell had great chemistry. Ashleigh surprised me (and a lot of us) in her partnership with Jakob. Mollee and Nathan really seem to be the only ones who made it through mostly only their own individual strengths rather than the strength of their partnership. I think the former partnerships gave us a chance to fall for specific dancers.

Time again to share your love for your favorite dancer. You’ve seen them all perform (if you’re on the east coast) and outlast all of the other dancers. So, the question just remains which of the SYTYCD top 4 will be America’s favorite dancer. Vote for your favorite and it will be interesting to see if readers of Pure SYTYCD can predict the actual winner of So You Think You Can Dance season 5.

I meant to post this earlier, but didn’t get a chance to post the list of the top 6, so you can vote for your favorites. I’ll leave it open so you can vote for as many of the top 6 as you want. Probably best to vote for who you’d like to be in the top 4. This should provide some pretty interesting results. Let the SYTYCD top 6 voting begin:

Now that we’re finally down to the So You Think You Can Dance top 10, it’s time to start looking at the dancers as individuals and not as couples. So, it only seems appropriate to post a poll asking which of the So You Think You Can Dance 2009 Top 10 is your favorite dancer? You can only vote one time for one dancer, but the results should be really interesting.

I previously posted a poll asking for people to vote for their favorite dancers from the SYTYCD top 20. We’ve had almost 3000 votes on the poll and the results of the poll are quite interesting. Take a look at this chart of the voting results and below it I’ll add some commentary on the results.

First, I have to of course point out that this poll includes all of the SYTYCD season 5 top 20. Paris and Tony are already gone, but even that’s interesting. Paris was the least popular person and so I guess that’s why no one has come to the site complaining about Paris going home. Tony on the other hand was more popular than Paris, but still was near the bottom.

I’m not surprised at all that Asuka and Vitolio are near the bottom. After their first performance that makes a lot of sense. Ashley for some reason has never been popular. Maksim doesn’t have the looks he needs to be more popular (see Dmitry).

I should mention that the voting results are probably a little bit skewed in Jeanine Mason’s favor since I’ve had a lot of people coming to my site after searching for Jeanine Mason’s name. That said, you have to give Jeanine credit that a lot of people are searching for her name on Google. If they didn’t care about her, they wouldn’t be searching.

Anyone who thinks that Evan doesn’t have a great shot at winning this season is crazy. This poll shows that. Phillip seems to have a nice fan following thanks to his previous performances on the show.

I’m a little surprised that Caitlin Kinney actually got more votes than her partner Jason Glover. I would have thought for sure that he’d be more popular than Caitlin (even if I’m obviously bias to Caitlin myself).  Although, from the looks of it Kayla Radomski is quite popular herself.

Another surprise for me is Pono Aweau sitting in the middle ground. I would have thought he’d be a bit more popular than that. Maybe it will just take some time for people to get to know him. Although with that said, I think he could potentially rub people the wrong way.

All in all, I feel pretty good about these poll results predicting which people will make it to the top 4. We might see one or two people shift a little, but the top slots do seem to be some of the best dancers and the most popular ones as well.

I’ve already created a poll for people to vote for their favorite SYTYCD individual dancers (since at the end of the day it is about the individuals). However, even more important at this point is which of the top 20 couples are going to be placed into the bottom 3 and have to dance for their life tomorrow night? Place your vote now for the couples you think will be in the SYTYCD bottom 3 tomorrow night (yes, that means you’re voting for the worst couples from tonight’s SYTYCD top 20).
