In the meantime, there’s a free download of her song “In Sleep” available from rcrdlbl, one of the free and legal download sources that our readers told me about in the “So You Want Free Music” post.

Enjoy!

And your lagniappe:
11. Michael Andrews ft. Gary Jules’s “Mad World” – Mad
12. Telepathe’s “Lights Go Down” – Lights [Due to special circumstances, I accidentally left this one off the list. It’d actually be #10, but I’m gonna stick in as 9.5]

20. Melissa Etheridge’s “Fearless Love” – Fearless

I know my lagniappe doubled the main list this week, but the second half of this list were all pretty close, so I just had to include them all.

I’m surprised that Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts” Jar isn’t on the list this week, since it’s been high up there for so long. But I am surprised to see two songs from my suggested list are still so popular with y’all.

In that vein, look for a super-secret mondo post next week, after the finale and the last Top SYTYCD Music post of Season 7.

And, of course, you can check out all Season 7’s music here.

Top SYTYCD Music of 6/20/10 – 6/27/10

Last week, I started a new regular post where I’ll list each week’s Top Ten songs on SYTYCD the previous week. These results are unique to our site and not based on any numbers from Billboard or iTunes – just the songs that are most popular here at PureSYTYCD.

Keep in mind, these are the most popular songs of the week, so many of them come from the most recent performance or results shows. If not, I’ll link to the original episode it aired. Enjoy!

Top SYTYCD Music 6/20-6/27

1. Annie Lennox’s “Wonderful” – Bare

2. Skunk Anasie’s “Squander” – Squander

3. D.H.T. ft. Edmee’s “Listen to Your Heart” –Listen

4. Sylvestor “Summertime” – Mutual

5. Amy Winehouse’s “Amy Amy Amy” – Frank (One of my personal favorites from the week!)

9. Damien Rice’s “Prague”O (This has been the most popular song overall this season so far.)

10. James Dooley’s “Ira Deorum/Sanctus” – Position

And for lagniappe, the #11 song just happens to be the “goodbye” song that everyone’s been talking about: Black Gold’s “Shine” – Rush, from the Valentine’s Day SoundtrackValentine's It remains to be seen whether this is the exit song for everyone or just the girls. We’ll have to lose a guy, just to be sure.

This week’s Top Ten was mostly from the week’s episodes, so I can’t wait to see if any songs stay with you like “Prague” and “Everywhere I Go” have. As always, all Season 7’s music is here.

SYTYCD Season 7 Music Update

I’d say be the first to pre-order Lissie’s “Catching a Tiger,” but that would probably be me since I ordered mine earlier today. 🙂

Lissie’s “Everywhere I Go” Why was featured in the Dallas/Nashville audition episode and has been one of the most popular songs here on the site since then. It’s from her earlier EP “Why You Runnin'”.

“Catching a Tiger” has my favorite Lissie song “When I’m Alone” on it, so check it out.

***

Destani Wolf wrote in to tell us that her song “7th Heaven,” 7th which was featured on Season 7’s premiere episode, was released on the 21st. It’s available for download on her website.

***

And, of course, Peter Levine wrote in to update us on Dirty Vici’s “Murder on the Dance Floor,” Dirty VICI - Murder On The Dance Floor (ft. Pete Levine) - Murder On The Dance Floor (ft. Pete Levine), which features him.

We’ll be keeping track of featured music tonight and through the season, so save this link.
