One of my wonderful Twitter followers linked me to the news (which also broke on Twitter) that Shane Sparks was going to be back on So You Think You Can Dance 2009 (Season 5). The news came from a tweet sent my Nigel Lythgoe. Here’s an image of the tweet Nigel sent about Shane Sparks back on SYTYCD 5:

This is really great news for So You Think You Can Dance fans. Shane was really missed last season. I’m glad that Nigel and company figured out a way to bring Shane Sparks back for So You Think You Can Dance 2009. Woot!! I can’t wait to see what new dance routines Shane has up his sleeves. Is there any doubt that So You Think You Can Dance season 5 is going to be awesome?

Good question. I’d say a number of songs on this list would be cool: https://puresytycd.com/2009/05/05/so-you-think-you-can-dance-2009-music-possibilities/ I’d love to see Shane go a little outside his normal box with something like Taylor Swift “Love Story” Would add a nice twist to things.
