The last song was “time of our lives” by Paul van dyk
great blog! keep it up
@Sokko: Thank you! You’re so right! @Cameron: I’m so glad you read the blog and you enjoy it, thank you for your comment! Keep checking in the hiatus – we’ve got lots of fun stuff planned and we’d love for everybody to jump in on the discussions while we’re waiting for Season 7 (and news about Season 6’s tour, which we *never* heard about on the show!). 🙂
Does anyone know the other song that was played at the beginning of the Season 6 highlights recap (other than “Guardian Angel”)?
I’m looking for it, Chris. I’ll have it up by tomorrow – no, later today since it’s after midnight in my time zone. 🙂 Check back!
I am also wondering the other song from the Season 6 Highlights Recap! If anyone knows, that would be great!
The first song during the highlights recap was “Sweet Disposition”
by The Temper Trap.
@Blair: You seriously rock. Thanks!
Awesome! Thanks!
Thanks so much!! I love that song!! 🙂
The opening (pre-credit) song was not “Sweet Disposition”–that was the song used for S6 highlights.
Anyone know the song that was used in the pre-credit VT?
I watched a re-run last night of the New Orleans auditions…I think they were originally back in September. Anyway…there was a blonde girl who auditioned the day after her grandfather died…she got the news while on the road. She made the cut to Vegas after the choreography round. I’m trying to figure out what the song was that she danced to. Contemporary, I think. Very vague details, I know…but thought it was worth a shot! Any info would be great. Thanks!
Hi Cullen: All the music from the New Orleans audition is listed here: https://www.puresytycd.com/2009/09/30/sytycd-new-orleans-auditions-music/
I’m pretty sure you’re talking about Diana Drexler, so it would be either Sherwood’s No Better
or JJ Heller’s Your Hands
, the latter of which she actually danced to.
What’s the very very first song of this episode, while the top 6 are talking? It’s not Sweet Disposition, but rather something much more mellow, with a girl singing “feel some” or “fear some”.
