SYTYCD Season 7 Top 10 Performance Discussion Thread

So, what are you thinking about tonight’s show? Still reeling from the elimination last week, the first of this new format? Have you read SYTYCDism’s spoilers and are now particularly looking forward to or dreading a particular performance?

The administrative girls here at PureSYTYCD have already been highly anticipating which male All-Star will dance shirtless.

Whatever your thoughts, here is the place for them!!!

SYTYCD Season 7 Music Update

I’d say be the first to pre-order Lissie’s “Catching a Tiger,” but that would probably be me since I ordered mine earlier today. 🙂

Lissie’s “Everywhere I Go” Why was featured in the Dallas/Nashville audition episode and has been one of the most popular songs here on the site since then. It’s from her earlier EP “Why You Runnin'”.

“Catching a Tiger” has my favorite Lissie song “When I’m Alone” on it, so check it out.

Destani Wolf wrote in to tell us that her song “7th Heaven,” 7th which was featured on Season 7’s premiere episode, was released on the 21st. It’s available for download on her website.

And, of course, Peter Levine wrote in to update us on Dirty Vici’s “Murder on the Dance Floor,” Dirty VICI - Murder On The Dance Floor (ft. Pete Levine) - Murder On The Dance Floor (ft. Pete Levine), which features him.

We’ll be keeping track of featured music tonight and through the season, so save this link.

SYTYCD 7: What will Pasha’s state of dress be like tonight?

SHIRT PEOPLE!!!! Geez, get your mind out of the gutter… 😀

So… Emilie and I were talking earlier today after seeing SYTYCDism‘s spoilers for tonight’s show.

Considering the spoilers that were revealed, that got us talking about that handsome and hot Latin guy: Pasha Kovalev. More in particular how he’s going to be dressed for tonight’s performance.

So without giving too much more away, Emilie is of the belief that Pasha is going to have a shirt on but will lose it by the end of the dance. John and I, however, believe that Pasha is going to have an open-chested shirt on, and it will stay on throughout the duration of the dance. (Sorry, we don’t necessarily believe in partially stripping onstage.)

Winner(s) would get bragging rights (yes, we know we’re cheap, but it’s fun). So we decided to put up a poll so you – the reader – could tells us what you believe.

Enjoy! 🙂

My life can be summed up in the following two quotes: 1) "I am married to engineering and am its faithful wife by day, but at night my wanderlust takes hold and the arts becomes my jealous paramour." and... 2) "Engineering is my safety net. Writing is my passion. Acting is my escape when the other two become too much." So where does dancing fit in? Pretty much anywhere at this point... =)
