A Farewell Message to Alex Wong
Pure SYTYCD readers Sue and Don sent me the following message which I thought that many other fans of Alex Wong and SYTYCD would appreciate. I hope that Alex gets to see their message.
This is for Alex. We are in our seventies and watch SYTYCD passionately. You have moved our hearts so deeply by your consummate ability, your joy, your inner beauty, and your genuine belief in yourself. You are an inspiration. Yes we cried and wated the tear run down your cheek, and we remembered the compassion that marks humanity. God bless you. There is nothing but genuine love and admiration for you here, and I am sure, throughout the world.. Visualize your return to dance in all its beauty. We keep you in our hearts. Don’t ever stop believing in yourself.
*sob* How many days until Season 8 starts and Alex comes back???

It’s a bit insensitive of Nigel to say the audience is ignorant and makes me wonder who’s the bigger person?
I have to say I think it was not such a great decision on Nigel’s part to sign on for Twitter; he’s really poor at… well, acting like a grown-up on there. This is not the first time that he’s become involved in heated exchanges that made him come off looking unappealingly pugilistic or easily baited, nor the first time that he’s said something that came off as quite disparaging to fans of SYTYCD. Most celebrities figure out early on how to ignore the flack and police their own behavior when responding to folks on a public forum like that.
Besides, I suspect he and some of these folks are talking at cross-purposes. Unless I’m seriously misunderstanding the exchanges, both @DavidSpearman and @stark23x (another person Nigel has been exchanging tweets with) share the view that they want to see Alex healthy and dancing again, whether on SYTYCD or elsewhere. So Nigel’s comments really do just make him come off looking like a jerk. 🙁
@Dennis and Robin Why are you guys complaining about Nigel on a blog that is for Alex. Wishing him well and all that stuff. I would love to see people leave messages for Alex.

I really hope Alex’s surgery goes well and he has a speedy recovery. Soon he will be dancing again. STYCYD just barely scratched the surface of what he can do.
Good point Amanda. Although, I’m glad they told me about them. They’re definitely relevant to this site. I’ll have to check them out and start another post.

I’m sure Alex will be back. He has the passion. I’m just not sure I want him back as a contestant next season. That feels odd.
@Amanda no disrespect but I only posted on the most recent entry at the time which was this one. I wish this website had an area where we are able to contact the moderators about subjects concerning SYTYCD so readers can avoid posting things that are off-topic, which I’ve had to do in the past because I am a huge fan and would rather tip off you guys versus other blogs.
As for Alex, I only wish the best for him and hope a quick recovery at hand. I meant no ‘post apathy’.
