Top SYTYCD Music of 7/11-7/18
So, I’ve been doing this thing for a few weeks, where I take some time every Sunday and break down the top music from SYTYCD during the previous week. Hey, it’s your downloads I’m going on by, so here’s some music I know you already love.
Top SYTYCD Music of 7/11-7/18:
1. Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts” – Is anyone surprised by this one? We’ve loved the song since it showed up on the show and she played it live on Thursday.
2. Lissie’s “Everywhere I Go” – I wonder if I should declare this the “Single of Season 7” yet. 🙂
3. Tom McRae’s “You Only Disappear” –
4. Roisin Murphy’s “Sinking Feeling” –
5. Howie Day’s “Collide” –
6. V.V. Brown’s “L.O.V.E.” –
7. Coldplay’s “Fix You” –
8. Lil Jon and LMFAO’s “Outta Your Mind” –
9. Ryan Leslie’s “You’re Not My Girl” –
10. Last Voices’s “Jungle” –
I realized that shows like SYTYCD have introduced me to great new songs. If I hear one I like I usually end up buying it on iTunes. 🙂 Since SYTYCD has great music, here are some of the songs I ended up buying because of the show:
“Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers (Lauren and Dom’s rumba from season 3)
“Amy Amy Amy” by Amy Winehouse (Kent and Courtney’s jazz this season)
“Beautiful Monster” by Ne-Yo (Jose and Comfort’s hip hop)
“Jar of Hearts” by Christina Perri (everyone knows why :))
“Make It Work” by Ne-Yo (Sabra and Dom’s hip hop from season 3 :D)
There’s more, but nah. :/ Anyways, “Ain’t No Sunshine” is actually my favorite song right now! ABDC has also introduced me to new music. It has also taught me that I can’t listen to “Toxic” by Britney Spears without laughing so hard I almost pee. (courtesy of Quest Crew… Thanks, guys) It sucks, ’cause that used to be my fave song when I was little. It doesn’t help that I have it on my iPod… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, that’s another thing I love about SYTYCD. It has freakin’ amazing music. I just hope they don’t use “Toxic” on it anytime soon. Or else I WILL pee from laughing.
[…] Last week’s Top Music was a pretty good mix of songs that have remained popular for several weeks and new music from that week’s performances. […]
