Canada Season 3 Promo with Previous Winners Nico & Tara-Jean
15th August the premiere of the 3rd Season.
No mention on who choreographed the routine my guess is Blake McGrath. He did the 2nd season promo last year which is this video below:

I read somewhere that Nico and his new wife, Wynn, actually choreographed that routine in collaboration with TJ. The mirror scenes were Tara-Jean’s idea. I think it’s a great commercial, they are both incredible dancers. Would love to see Nico and Wynn choreograph for SYTYCD US, I think they would bring a great new energy.
I’ve seen the promo too, although I was only half watching and it took me awhile to figure out that it was Nico, a little longer to get that the other dancer was Tara-Jean (embarrassing I know!) I suspected the routine might be Nico and Wynn’s work. I’m completely with you Margaret, I’d like to see them choreograph for the U.S. show as well.
As much as I despise Leah Miller(and I’m not fond of Tre either), I really do think at times that the Canadian version is better. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations again this summer!
I like both dancers, but I thought that the style suited NIco, and not TJ very much.
I don’t like Leah Miller either (don’t mind Tre) but I am really looking forward to the Canadian version. I find I get more attached to the dancers, on that version.
I’ve watched SYTYCD since S4, but I’m fairly new to this website. Can I just ask….how to you watch SYTYCD Canada when you live in the US?
@Cindy, welcome to PureSYTYCD!! To answer your question, I’ve mostly seen SYTYCD Canada through YouTube, there used to be a channel that had the episodes but I think it got suspended. If you Wikipedia SYTYCD Canada, you can see the different partnerships. Here are some suggestions of ones to YouTube:
