i want to know the song that was in the montage of auditions because it sounded really cool!
haha never mind it’s already up there! thanks!
Oh Land- Sun of a Gun was in one of the solo montages
does anyone know the hip hop/ techno ish sounding song, there were no words except for ‘uh oh’
hey does anyone know the name of the dubstep-ish song that they played during one of the montages?
There’s a song during the montage of yes’s at around 8:24. I think it’s the same one Kelly’s referring to. The only lyric was “Uh Oh”. I feel like that song was maybe used during the audition episodes (with a breaker or B-boy)
Hey Kelly, we just used shazam on iPhone. It’s Pro Nails (Rusko remix) by Kid Sister found on the Scion Sampler vol 22 fool’s gold remixed.
thank yoooou
@Michelle and Lisa: Good to know y’all have my back if I’d have missed it. I love that song. It was definitely used twice, too, you’re right. Now, can you help with the classical? Yes, I’m pathetic when it comes to music without lyrics…
@Erica: Yay, you’re welcome! Also, thank you! I hadn’t had a chance to look that one up yet and you were definitely on it.
@Kelly, Emily and Elle: I’ve already missed that one TWICE this season, so I was on the ball this go round. Lol. Thanks to Elle for being there with the answer. I think they’ve used it in 3/4 episodes this season. Hmm….
The song that Alexis did her solo to is called: ‘Lux Aeterna’ It’s on the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack.
I was trying for like ever tonight to remember the name of the one song in the montage. SOOOO happy to come across this post and find what I was looking for! It was driving me nuts! btw, it was my body by young the giant. obsessed with the song already.
The DUBSTEP song that everyone is inquiring about that says “Uh Oh” is a Rusko Remix by Kid Sister-“Pro Nails”.
Elle beat me to it π haha
@Allie: Thanks!
@Andi: I’m so glad we could help you out. That is a great song. There were a LOT of amazing songs in tonight’s episode.
@Lindsey: Lol. I actually missed it TWICE earlier this season and got it right on my own tonight. But only cause readers corrected me both times earlier. Thanks for writing in and hope we hear from you again soon!
Alexis Mason’s dance for her life music is David Lanz “Variations On a Theme from Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major” π
Hi Emilie, Wow, ya’ll are amazing! I can’t even tweet while the show is on and you guys are watching, tweeting, taking notes and blogging? Incredible!
Was that Fossee song “Big Spender” from Sweet Charity? Right movie but not sure of title? Anyways, was hoping that might help enough to at least spark someone elses memory better than mine. Thanks so much for posting the music.
Really blown away by some of the eliminations tonight… Can’t wait to see who all survived. The hip- hop round knocked out a few that really surprised me. Still, man it’s great seeing all the familiar faces :). LOVE this show, lol!
@Brenda: Thanks for noticing how hard we’re working! It can be a bit exhausting, but it’s sooo much fun. If I miss the music while I’m having fun tweeting, I know the readers have my back.
Amanda says the song is “Rich Man’s Frug” from Sweet Charity, so right movie/show and pretty close to right song too.
I think that hip hop cut was…a sock to the gut. Like 5 favorites (and one in particular who should have excelled at hip hop) gone just like that. Painful.
I’d love to know the name of Clarice’s solo, I swear I’ve heard it before!
Alexis Mason’s solo was Requiem for a Dream…
@Rachel: I’ll keep looking, have no fear!
@JMB: βLux Aeternaβ is from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack. I’ll keep checking to make sure that’s the right one.
Did you guys happen to get the song from the “Surprising cut”s montage at the end of the hip hop round?
Thanks in advance you guys are working hard!
@Rachel: It’s Levels Music Group – Danica Rozelle’s “Mi Diablo,” which is not available yet on iTunes, but Dylan from LMG tells us it will be up soon. Check back!
@Val: Yup, Dylan gave us some info and it’s one of LMG’s as well. It’s Darnel Alexander (him again!) and Joseph Glenn Alley’s “I Can Be Your shoulder,” which will be available on iTunes shortly. Check the playlist link I just put up and you can hear it at Tunecore for the moment.
Yes, thank you! Was also wondering what that techno-ish song was!
Thanks for the list! I’ve been a long time fan of the site but don’t comment much but these lists are always so helpful. Just wanted to say though that you forgot a song. There’s an song introducing and also playing during the rehearsal of Travis’ contemporary round, and it’s called “Welcome to Hell” by Plan B. I noticed the song and really liked it and so looked it up. Just in case anyone else was interested in it too. π
The song being played when Bryce (the professor) got accepted through contemporary round was Eliza Doolittle – Pack Up . Just for anyone who wants to know π
OMG I MUST know the song that played after Natalia soloed towards the end of the episode. It sounds amazing! It was the solo montage right between her solo and Clarice Ordaz’s solo. MUST. KNOW.
The song at the end where the montages of solo dances is called “People by AWOLNATION”
@Giselle: I’m not sure, but the list’s been updated and you may find what you’re looking for now. π
@Jenn: Thanks for catching that! And for commenting. Glad to have your help!
@MashaMoshpit: Thanks so much for letting me know – that is a GREAT song! Also, I think the song you were looking for is AWOLNation’s “People.” I’ve updated the list, so a link is above.
@Dominic: Thank you! The list’s been updated.
I think AWOLNation – People is the song played when they get to go up to the penthouse, which is after Clarice performs. The one that I’m looking at is immediately between them, and it almost starts to sound like a clip made just for the show cause it ends in a echo that reminds me of the show theme.
