SYTYCD Season 8 Music Predictions/Suggestions

I still like my lists from Seasons 6 and 7 a lot. Reading back through them, I kept thinking, “Oooohh, that would make a good routine.” Anybody else constantly thinking, “Oh, that’d make a good SYTYCD song” whenever you hear music? What songs do that to you?

My Season 8 song list is part music that probably will feature on the show this season and songs I think should be on the show. Check it out:

1. Beyonce’s new single, “1+1” – 1+1 - 1+1 - Single
2. Martin Solveig ft Dragonette’s “Hello” – Hello - Hello - Single
3. Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” – Rolling In the Deep - 21, though it’d be interesting if it was another version, like the Glee Cast Rolling In the Deep (Glee Cast Version) [feat. Jonathan Groff] - Rolling In the Deep (Glee Cast Version) [feat. Jonathan Groff] - Single or Haley Reinhart Rolling In The Deep (American Idol Performance) - Rolling In the Deep (American Idol Performance) - Single versions.
4. Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness” – Pursuit of Happiness (Nightmare) [feat. MGMT & Ratatat] - Man On the Moon - The End of Day (Expanded Version) is probably my favorite, but “Day ‘n’ Night” – Day 'n' Nite - Man On the Moon: The End of Daywould make a great routine as well.
5. The Like’s “He’s Not a Boy” – He's Not a Boy - Release Me
6. The Script’s “For the First Time” – For the First Time - Science & Faith (Bonus Track Version)
7. Nicki Minaj’s “Moment 4 Life” – Moment 4 Life - Pink Friday (Deluxe Version)
8. Dan Mangan’s “The Indie Queens Are Waiting” – The Indie Queens Are Waiting - Nice, Nice, Very Nice
9. Lizz Wright’s “Leave Me Standing Alone” – Leave Me Standing Alone - The Orchard
10. Tinie Timpah’s “Written in the Stars” – Written In the Stars (feat. Eric Turner) - Written In the Stars (feat. Eric Turner) - Single
11. Ellie Golding’s “Guns and Horses” – Guns and Horses - Lights
12. Kanye West’s “All of the Lights” – All of the Lights - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
13. The Generationals’ “Ten-Twenty-Ten” – Ten-Twenty-Ten - Actor-Caster (Bonus Version) (These guys are local and awesome, sound a little bit like Black Gold).
14. Alex Winston’s “Sister Wife” – Sister Wife - Sister Wife - EP
15. David Guetta ft Fergie’s “Gettin’ Over You” – Gettin' Over You - Gettin' Over You (feat. Fergie & LMFAO) - EP

I could literally do this all day, but I have to go get ready for the big premiere. If you’re looking for more music, remember that we’ve given you tons of great music lists here over the years. At the end of the last season, I posted the Monster Music Post, a list of your favorite songs from the season, as well as other song suggestions from many of the writers here on Pure SYTYCD.
