SYTYCD Season 9: Dallas and New York Auditions Music (Premiere!)
Hello all! Since I won’t be able to see tonight’s show live… I would really appreciate your help in finding the music from tonight’s So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 premiere. As you know, we’ve been listing all of the SYTYCD music ever since SYTYCD season 2. We hope to do the same this season.
In the comments below please list any and all songs that you happen to pick up, and any songs that you’d like me to specifically find and within twenty-four hours from the show I’ll update this post with the songs that I was able to catch. Please attempt to be as specific as possible as to where the music came from during the episode so I would know not to look for it and move on to the next piece of music.
The more songs that you guys are able to find, the more time I will have in finding the songs that you are unable to find.
Thank you so much for your help!
– Marianya
UPDATE: We just got word that Episode 1 of So You Think You Can Dance will feature “BROTHER BROTHER” the single released last season on SYTYCD. We’ll have to see who dances to it or when it’s used on the show.
UPDATE 2: Thanks to all of the readers that have helped with this list. As Marianya stated, she and hopefully Emilie will help with more of the music and making the list much nicer tomorrow.
UPDATE 3: Since fox.com does not allow viewing of last night episode until June 1st, please bear with me as I try to find the music that is missing from the list below. I have rearranged the music in the order that I know of from what I was able to piece together from various videos I’ve found online.

Hi again…still looking for the song from the last dancer in NY…anyhelp thanks
Does anyone know of the specific version or remix of Gymnopedie No. 1 that is used? It has a drum track to it. Have searched everywhere with no luck. Help!
I posted the songs I was able to get here earlier: http://www.tunefind.com/show/so-you-think-you-can-dance/season-9/11541
I was able to get most of them, but still missing a couple more; such as the dubstep song that played before & after Von’s audition.
What was the song that had the word “Unstoppable” in it?!! It was a pop kind of song!! I really liked it but I can’t find it anywhere!!
Looking for the song that played mostly before Von Kipper’s dance audition, and a small amount afterwards. It said Unstoppable over and over again without any other lyrics. Really NEED this song!!!!
the song played when jarelle receives his ticket and dancers passing through the choreography is Nick Nolan- Free for All
you can hear it here: http://www.nicknolan.com/audio/page3/
The song playing during Shafeek’s backstory on flipping sounded like Conquistador by Procul Harum.
The last song played at the end of the episode was the theme to “America’s Next Top Model”
A different rendition but definitely the same song.
Very bizarre…
Still no luck with the “Unstoppable” song???
Please help . . really need the song . .
Love you SYTYCD Fans
(forgive me for the comment on the Debbie Allen Discussion – messed up with the windows)
Unstoppable song is by Santigold! There are a lot of different mixes on YouTube, but that’s the original. Some of the ones with Drake spell her name Santogold and I’m not sure which one is right. Glad I found it =)
What’s the song for Johnny Waacks Gibson’s audition?
Hi, what is the song that came immediately after “where them girls at”? It was when we first saw sam shreffler, right before he auditioned, it sounded like a dubstep song. Thank you!
